Pretty: The Series

left to right: kirsten vangsness, sam pancake, stacy mcqueen, dee freeman, michael taylor gray and terri simmons

January 29, 2012 – Grab a cocktail and get ready to laugh! We have the cast of Pretty: The Series coming into the studio this Sunday (our most guests ever in a single show) and it is sure to be a laugh fest (and a little loud)! If “Toddlers & Tiaras” had an illegitimate child fathered by “The Office,” it would be “Pretty.” This critically-acclaimed, multi-award winning web series, now in its third season, follows the trials and tribulations of one Michael Champagne (Sam Pancake), a proud pageant dad with but one wish: To see his 6 year old daughter Annette win the Miss Star Eyes Pageant. Please note: 6 year old Annette is played by a 30 plus year old actress (Stacy McQueen). Guest stars have added their sequined-fill to “Pretty,” including Emmy winners Genie Francis and Martha Byrne, “Criminal Minds” star Kirsten Vangsness, “Reba” alum Melissa Peterman, not one but two former “Jan Bradys” – Melanie Hutsell and Jennifer Elise Cox, and the queen of the soapy cul-de-sac herself, from Knots Landing star Joan Van Ark. We are thrilled to have actress, comedienne and friend of the show, Melissa Peterman joining us live in the studio for our holiday episode! As an added bonus, we also have vegan chef and cookbook author, Sarah Kramer, calling in from Canada to share one of her favorite holiday recipes!
